Terms & Conditions of Service
Last Updated: September 6, 2026 • Version 1.0 (Production Blueprint)
1. Introduction & Overview
Welcome to Fixiva (“Platform”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). Fixiva operates an on-demand technology platform coordinating verified home visits for maintenance, appliance diagnostics, and specialized residential services through licensed territory operators across India.
2. Definitions
- Customer: Any individual booking a residential service through the platform.
- Service Partner: Independent, KYC-verified professional or technician assigned to perform the service visit.
- Operation Partner: Licensed local territory licensee responsible for technician onboarding and neighborhood operations.
- Door Verification OTP: A secure 6-digit code delivered to the Customer to authorize commencement of work at the door.
3. Service Bookings & 48-Hour Scheduling Policy
Fixiva operates a non-instant marketplace. All service requests require a minimum 48-hour advance notice to ensure certified technicians are allocated with genuine spare parts. Fixiva does not guarantee instant technician dispatch. The matching engine broadcasts requests to local qualified technicians on a first-accept-wins basis.
4. Door Security & Work Authorization
To protect customers and service partners, service visits may only transition to “In Progress” after the technician validates the customer’s 6-digit Door OTP. Customers must not provide the OTP until the technician is physically present at the premises.
5. Payments, Cancellations & Refunds
Prices shown in the booking summary include diagnostic inspection and standard baseline labor. Material replacement, parts, or extensive plumbing/re-piping will be quoted on-site prior to repair. Customers may cancel an open or assigned booking up to 12 hours prior to the booked slot without penalty.
[LEGAL COUNSEL APPROVED PLACEHOLDER]
Exhaustive statutory sections including Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Dispute Arbitration in Kochi Jurisdiction, and Intellectual Property Rights are preserved for legal counsel insertion prior to national rollout.
